Fitzroy Revival, Fitzroy
Heritage Meets Modern Form
This Fitzroy project by Woodsman Projects breathes new life into a 1920s home, blending respectful restoration with a bold, modern rear extension.
The original frontage was carefully preserved, maintaining its period charm. To the rear, a raked ceiling and clean material palette define the contemporary addition. Ecowood CharredAsh cladding and a custom powder-coated steel shroud bring depth and contrast to the facade.
Inside, a refined mix of finishes — Taj Mahal stone, matt black Plytec joinery, and Sesame timber floors by Made by Storey — creates a warm yet modern interior. About Space lighting and Faucet Strommen fittings complete the high-end detailing.
This project balances heritage sensitivity with modern design clarity, delivering a home that feels both grounded and forward-thinking.
